I attended Ultimate Stance last year when I was very new into my Automotive Photography journey, so this year with more experience behind me and a better knowledge of the car scene I was excited for this show. It was also a chance to catch up with friends I have made in my journey so far and meet new ones.
For many people it is the season finale, a chance to catch up and socialise with friends old and new, showcase those builds for the last time this year, and for some it's also a chance to reveal new changes.
The show takes place at the International Centre in the heart of Telford, Shropshire. It is ideally located 5 minutes walk from the shops, bars and restaurants, as well as being accessible by the local train station and motorway networks. For those attending the show as a visitor there are a number of car parks close by and for anyone wanting to make a weekend of it there are a number of hotels within walking distance of the venue meaning you can party Saturday night, walk back to your hotel after and then be within walking distance of the show on the Sunday.
The venue itself is perfect for the show. Inside you will find a large range of carefully selected show cars surrounded by a whole host of trade stands and entertainment. Trade stands this time included local detailing company The Detail Kitchen, Local car brand Das Society alongside some of the big named brands such as Greenlight Insurance and Owna. Whatever you are in the market to buy for your car themed needs then you are sure to find it here.
There are also a selection of places to eat or grab a drink on site, as well as many options
located 5 minutes walk away. So there really is something for every taste and budget. This also means you can sit with friends and family and just soak up the atmosphere whilst resting your feet before tackling the rest of the show.
Indoors there are 3 main halls filled with some stunning cars, as well as perfectly placed cars along the main walkways. There really is something to look at wherever you turn. Whether it is supercars that are your thing, or something more classic like beautifully restored pick ups or iconic cars of years gone by, to everyday favourites that have been modified to become something unique for their owners to be proud of, then you will find it here. There is something for everyone and every taste.
Each and every car should be admired for the work that has gone in to it.
Not only is there a large indoor space to explore, but the there is also a whole car park outdoors dedicated to more fabulous cars. The outdoor space gives car clubs the chance to showcase up to 6 cars each. It is always popular and there are just as many interesting and unique builds outdoors as there are inside.
If that is still not enough cars for you I can recommend taking a walk through the local multi- storey car parks too as these are often concealing hidden gems who are attending the show.
There really isn't anything negative I can say about this show and it is one for the 2023 diary that is for sure.
