Track your travels and create a lasting memory

Updated: 2 days ago

I am always telling people about this quirky gift I got so thought I would do a quick blog post on it.

Back to Christmas of 2019 I was getting ready for a year of adventures and seeing more of the world. Finally I was in a position to do this and had so many trips planned and booked for the year ahead. That year a lot of my presents were travel related, including this scratch off map of the UK and map of the world

The maps come in a gold cardboard tube and make a great present.

They have a gold foil design which you scratch off the places you been to reveal colour flags of the places. Once completed you could even frame them as a permanent memory too.

Unfortunately for most people 2020 took an unexpected turn and travel plans turned to chaos. For me all but one of my trips was cancelled and the events of 2020/2021 meant any major travel plans were put on hold indefinitely.

I have managed over the last couple of years to visit more of the UK including a brief visit to Scotland, but my UK map deserves more attention and I will try to complete as much of it as I can this year. The world map may take a little more time, as despite quite a few trips abroad, including going to New Zealand the world map looks a little sad to say the least.

These maps are great for travel enthusiasts or even to help educate children and would be fab for school classrooms. If you would like to purchase one for your own travel journey you can find them here https://amzn.to/3R2JqQj

Happy 2024 travels all.
