Shrewsbury Garage is making Waves



Last weekend I headed over to Shrewsbury to capture the Grand Opening of the new Halfway House Garages.

The garage is situated next to the Renault dealership on Featherbed Road. This is a prime location, surrounded by other dealerships and car related businesses. It also boasts on site parking and is within easy access of shops and cafes if you want to leave your car to be repaired and go explore the near by businesses. For jobs that may take a while longer the garage is located close to transport links so you can head home.


For those that prefer to stay on site I have to say this is the most well thought out space I have ever seen, and I have been in a lot of garages over the years.


There is plenty of seating, from window seats and tables if you want to relax and watch the world go by whilst enjoying a coffee, comfy sofa seating area if you prefer to relax and catch up with emails or read. Plus the biggest feature for me is the option of using one of the private office spaces to work, perfect if like me you can't always spare time out of the day to get repairs done due to work commitments, but can work from any location.


There are also tea/coffee facilities on site and clean toilets with a baby changing station.


For anyone who would prefer to discuss things in private, there is separate office where you can speak with the mechanics. Ideal if discussing sensitive information, or if you just want a calm environment to take in the information being given.


In the workshop it is fully equipped and spacious enough to be able to work on several vehicles at once, meaning they have the ability to complete work quicker. They can help with everything from simple battery changes to bigger mechanically jobs.


The team have a wealth of knowledge and the business has built strong relationships with local suppliers to ensure they are able to provide an efficient and reliable service using quality tried and tested parts.


Overall the business offers a friendly and welcoming atmosphere alongside a trusted service. For anyone who is looking for a garage in the area that isn't going to come across as daunting or pushy then this is worth a visit.
