I started my photography business back in 2012 not knowing where the journey would take me.
Originally specialising in family photography I was lucky to build a loyal customer base who returned time and time again, trusting me to capture their precious family memories. I loved seeing how little ones had grown from their newborn shoots and developed their own little personalities which shone in the shoots that followed.
Over the years I was honoured to also be asked to capture other things from weddings, to events, business photography and creative shoots too. I loved the variety and made many friends along the way. I was so lucky that my business grew from strength to strength allowing me to run a successful full time business for many years.
Fast forwarding to 2019 and I made the decision to make my photography a part time business and find a part time role alongside it. However the part time job I started took me a while to get to grips with, then a forced house move meant I also lost my studio space sending my plans into a spin.
2020 was my comeback year with a new plan, a new way of working and a new direction on what I offered. I was excited and ready to hit the ground running, however the world had other ideas and a world pandemic forced another re-think.
Not wanting to be deterred and still having a massive passion for my photography I tweaked my plans again and spent 2020 battling the odds to create a brand new portfolio ready for the launch of my new website in 2021.
This brings me to where I am now. Going forward, I will be using the skills and knowledge learnt so far, to help businesses and up and coming models/creatives to get the images they need to move forward with their own dreams and visions. I am looking forward to what the future holds and believe that although times are still uncertain for some many, better times are ahead and great things are on the horizon.
